THEY PROTESTED THE GENOCIDE IN GAZA.
NOW THEY stand TRIAL FACING FELONIES.
26 Bay Area community members were arrested on the Golden Gate Bridge (GG26) on April 15th 2024 for protesting the use of US taxpayer dollars to fund weapons and technology used in the first 7 months of the genocide in Gaza.
Perhaps knowing that principled action is a threat to its current ongoing rampage in Palestine, Lebanon, Syria, and Iran, the government charged the protestors with conspiracy felony and misdemeanor false imprisonment. The government has had multiple opportunities to drop the case, but continues to waste taxpayer money in prosecuting 7 people for felony conspiracy. The case now faces jury trial. Pre-trial proceedings began April 30, 2026, Opening Statements heard on May 20th, 2026, and the Prosecution’s case is currently in progress.
This website is run by the GG26 Solidarity Committee and is dedicated to sharing the stories of our brave community members, transmitting information about the jury trial as it unfolds, and preserving the knowledge harnessed through the course of the GG26 legal case.
